The First Robot Marathon Match

Held from 24 to 27 February 2011, the event which took place in Osaka, Japan has become the first game marathon in the world, where the participants are the robots runners. To prove who is the most superior, robots that become participants have to cover the tracks run run as far as 42.2 km.

Fun, for those who want to follow the game, available UStream video streaming service which broadcast the competition run this robot directly.

Organized by Vstone, the creator of the robot Robovie-PC, the game aims to test the ability of the robot in navigating the tracks that have been set up to run to the finish line.

Robovie-PC of course participating in this competition. Robots that have supported the accuracy of navigation with 1.3 megapixel camera and 1.6 GHz processor, Robovie-PC predicted as a tough competitor who challenged the other robots.

And so in fact, Robovie-PC was a winner in this match. Please see footage of this robot marathon match  in the video below:
