Mini Robot Helicopter To Help Develop Building

Daniel Mellinger and his team in the GRASP Laboratory in the University of Pennsylvania, United States (U.S.), created a system that allows the robot could fly and build a building.

Reported by New Scientist on Thursday (01/20/2011), we only require to specify the design of buildings to be produced. The algorithm will determine exactly where the parts of the building was put as much as type a building.

Furthermore, like the demonstrations that were recorded in a video, several little robotic helicopter that in turn follow the algorithm instructions, and coordinate together in choosing building components that became their job.

“We are also developing grippers on this robot for simpler in taking part of the building and place it down. In the pilot, equipped with a magnetic building parts so that the robot isn’t too difficult when pressed every component of the building,”said Mellinger.
